Blueface doesn’t do anything more than be himself on "Dirt Bag"
Cash Money West Signee and self-proclaimed best lyricist, Blueface drops his latest project “Dirt Bag.” Often criticized for his “offbeat” flow, Blueface ignores his haters and comes in with a concise project that boasts the disrespectful lyrics many fans love him for. The rapper has enjoyed quite a few hits during his career, most notably “Thotiana,” but even more so he’s enjoyed the attention. The EP standing at 8 songs adding to 21 minutes comes as the west coast rapper is on his ”Buss Down” tour. Filled with features, like West Coast staple The Game, as well as Lil Pump, Offset, Rich The Kid and Mozzy, Blueface looks to continue his quest to be “the best lyricist” in the game. What steps will Blueface take in with the release of this new EP? Let’s get to the review.

Must Listen Songs
The concept of Must Listen songs are the songs that would give the best overview of the album as a whole. Songs that stand out for reasons to be described in the pending descriptions of the songs.
“Stop Cappin” ft. The Game
Led by an eerie Piano riff, this track has a hard 808 bumping in your ear the whole time and an aggressive flow from Blueface where he takes on all his competition. The Game comes in with a supreme verse and California co-sign.
“Disrespectful”
The single which highlights the many women he gets with, and his disrespectful nature in both life and in the bedroom. Another Classic Cali beat, this also happens to be the single where he speaks on having to kick his sister and mother out.
“Bussdown” ft. Offset
One of the best songs on the project, Bussdown is all about Blueface’s rise to success, and his newfound ability to buy himself a Bussdown watch. His accompanied by Offset who shines on a trance-inducing piano riff and hard bass.
Final Review
Although only 8 songs long, half of them having features, all of the beats hard-hitting toting that signature west coast feel. Blueface doesn’t do anything more than be himself, his dancing flow compliments the hard beats, and simple piano melodies well. The features also all perform well, ranging from different sounds, areas, and levels of stardom. Blueface compliments the features well, making it “Dirt Bag” the perfect EP to drop while he’s on the road. While some Hip Hop fans might not be impressed by his lackadaisical and disrespectful bars, his miniscule subject matter or his flow that like can at times forget rhythm and structure. Fans of the carefree playboy will feel held over for the time being. The production never outshines Blueface, and together the two make a solid project.
